I began my acrylic paint pour journey in July of 2019.
In contrast to my career of graphic design, acrylic paint pouring has allowed me to explore a free flowing process which requires a surrender to the medium — with only slight manipulation or control. This exploratory process has proven to be a satisfying and fun way to create expressive art.
Most items shown include design, production, as well as the installation.
Technical drawings for manufacturing and print production was a key responsibility during my tenure at Almetek Industries, Inc.
Over the course of 6 years as the Art & Die Dept. Manager, I generated more than 6000 technical drawings. Collaborating closely with various departments, I strategically designed products with a focus on optimizing the manufacturing process. Given that a significant portion of our products catered to the utility industry, I acquired a comprehensive understanding of ANSI (American National Standards Institute) and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations.
The nature of this role was distinctive, as it involved the convergence of graphic design and manufacturing, often requiring a nuanced blend of engineering skills. Attention to technical details emerged as a paramount factor in ensuring the success of each product.
In addition to my role in technical design, I assumed leadership responsibilities in managing the print production department, overseeing a team of four individuals. This aspect of my role honed my leadership skills as I navigated tight deadlines, resolved issues through troubleshooting, and upheld rigorous standards of quality control—a routine practice in such a dynamic and demanding environment.

What Goes Around Craft was a crafting business I had from 2008 to 2011.
It existed thru the popular website for handmade goods, etsy, but I also did a few craft shows when time allowed.
I designed the logo, tags, die cut business cards, etsy site banner, and promotional stickers to go along with my handmade crafted goods.
Handmade items included dog leashes and collars made from recycled bicycle tire tubes, fused plastic products as well as plastic yarn or "plarn" products.
This business took a break and eventually disappeared while I attended graduate school. Onto the next big thing!
